Aimhigh Posted December 23, 2011 #1 Posted December 23, 2011 Okay, I bought the Aluma MC10 to haul the Wing to distant lands. I now need the best wheel chock to put on it and protect my bike. Which one is the best? I saw a posting or ad some time ago that discussed a chock that locks the wheel securely so you just have to use straps to keep the bike from moving sideways...can't seem to find it again...not even sure if it is the best anyway. Appreciate any help you can provide.
Sylvester Posted December 23, 2011 #2 Posted December 23, 2011 I have the WHEEL DOCK which has served me very well. Ride the bike into the chock, trip the lock with your left foot and climb off the bike. It will stay there and then you can strap it down.

Solodadof2 Posted December 23, 2011 #4 Posted December 23, 2011 I have the harbor frieght ones that I got with my coupon for like 40 bucks and they work great. they are not aluminum like the condor but seem to work very well
Rick Butler Posted December 24, 2011 #5 Posted December 24, 2011 Jim, Take a look at the Baxely which started this product line that everyone followed: http://www.baxleycompanies.com/Chocks.html And it's adjustable for the front tire width and clamps the tire after it snaps over center. Hope this helps, Rick Okay, I bought the Aluma MC10 to haul the Wing to distant lands. I now need the best wheel chock to put on it and protect my bike. Which one is the best? Tom Posted December 24, 2011 #6 Posted December 24, 2011 Jim, I use the Condor and everyone that has seen me load either a Venture or Wing it's secured in less than 3 minutes and doesn't move at all. Welcome to come by and take a look at it.
Midrsv Posted December 24, 2011 #7 Posted December 24, 2011 Congratulations on the trailer. Your going to like it. I have the Aluma MC210 and I've had good luck just using the wheel chock that came with the trailer. I've hauled both the Venture and the wing with it. I just pull the bike against the stop, put the sidestand down, get off and then tie it down. I put the left tiedown on first and then ratchet the right side down snug to pull the bike back up straight and off of the side stand. Dennis
Phoneman1981 Posted December 24, 2011 #8 Posted December 24, 2011 Hello: I have been happy with my Condor stand.
