Pegasus1300 Posted December 20, 2011 #4 Posted December 20, 2011 I did a ride like that in 1973 from Provo UT to New Orleans,all snow from Provo to Dallas.I did it on an R75/5 with an Avon fairing. What a trip but once was enough.I admire anyone who can do that for fun.

Made Omaha and slept for twenty hours. Thought my feet were frozen but made it OK. This was in October. NEVER AGAIN.
