I went back to Berryman's B-12. It's $3.97 at WalMart:happy34:

OB-1 how long have you been using B-12. The price is right. Sure would like to know how others like it and how it performs to Seafoam.

I have used both Seafoam and B-12 and they both seem to work about the same. The Seafoam is more expensive. I let a 4 carb Kawasaki sport bike sit too long and it wouldnt idle on its own and was running very rough. Added a full can ofB-12 to a tank of gas and drove it 40 miles. By the time I got home it was smooth and running fine. Now I use it about every 6 months as a preventative cleaner. I also use green stabil at the end of every ride because I never now how long it will be sitting since I have 3 bikes.

Sea-Foam will not hurt the carbs. B-12 is good but rougher on the seal and gaskets. Star-Tron gets good reviews costs little more than Sea-Foam. 44 something down texas way is supposed to be good. I don't know. I use the B-12 if I have something very dirty as a shock treatment then usually do a Sea-Foam soak after. Asking questions about cleaners gets me in trouble. I will leave the rest to those that know more. I hate pulling carbs when not necessary.

It seems there is a lot of talking about the price of sea foam and I see that it runs between $7 & $10 most the time. I was wondering how much of this stuff you all use to be worried so to speak about buck or two. I use a couple of cans a year and I ride about 35,000 miles a year and that is more than enough fo me.

I don't remember asking "How many of you are worried about what you pay for SEAFOAM?"

I was just curious about the wide range of prices. Oh, by the way--- if you make it to retirement and have limited income, you may look more closely at a "buck or two".

$6.48 every day at Runnings Fleet and Farm, MN base fleet supply store; local auto parts store has had it on the counter at $5.99 since last fall.

I have seen the price tag of up to 20 dollars here in canada...

Regular price at Canadian Tire is around 12 dollars, but they do go on sale every now and then for 9 bucks or so. Every thing here is too damn expensive compared to the States. So much for the " free trade". :confused07:
