peterbooth Posted December 4, 2011 Share #1 Posted December 4, 2011 I just installed a car tire on my motorbike (with a sidecar) and was looking for suggested tire pressure. The tire is a Nankang CX668 165/80 R15 87T BSW (AS). Anyone with this type of setup please respond Thanks
First_N_Last Posted December 4, 2011 Share #2 Posted December 4, 2011 Hi there; I can't answer your question but... How easy did the tire seat on your rim? Do you know at what pressure it seated? I just put a Voyager kit on & my next tire change will be a CT now. The Kumo was a *****! Sylvester Posted December 4, 2011 Share #3 Posted December 4, 2011 I have a Kumho (used) to mount on my rear wheel, thanks to Mike G in SC. It will be mounted soon and installed on my 02 RSMV w/ Hannigan Classic sidecar. I will start out at 44 psi and work with that +/-. Best I can give you, it is always a trial and error. Mike G in SC Posted December 5, 2011 Share #6 Posted December 5, 2011 Peter, Jim is probably right, trial/error. (You're welcome, Jim) I was running mid to low 40's but was reading threads with higher. But you might browse the "Dark Side" tech forum on this site for info. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=106 Mike G
