RandyR Posted November 30, 2011 #1 Posted November 30, 2011 http://venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=65462 I replied to Atldragonslayer and my reply went into the thread in front of an older post. I noticed the previous post actually had a timestamp that was 1/2hour in the future. So subsequant posts were showing up (text-wise) prior to the quoted post, out of sequence. ie: I posted at 9:15am clock time, but Bob's prior post had a timestamp of 9:45am.
RandyR Posted November 30, 2011 Author #2 Posted November 30, 2011 There seem to be other posts with a future timestamp (less than an hour in the future) occurring at the moment. I just checked my computer's time, and it is correct 9:33 EST currently.
bryan52577 Posted November 30, 2011 #3 Posted November 30, 2011 COOL!! Think of the fun one could have with that!!! Or you can see what people are going to write and answer them before they post! Wild man, got anymore of that stuff? Bryan
RandyR Posted November 30, 2011 Author #4 Posted November 30, 2011 I think it must be a neutrino storm occurring....
XV1100SE Posted November 30, 2011 #6 Posted November 30, 2011 Testing.... changed my time offset from GMT by an hour.
XV1100SE Posted November 30, 2011 #7 Posted November 30, 2011 Went into User CP/Edit Options and subtracted an hour in the Time Zone. For Ontario it should be -5 (Eastern) but when I changed it to -6 (Central) it fixed the time issue on posts.
XV1100SE Posted November 30, 2011 #8 Posted November 30, 2011 My original setting was -5 and DST corrections always on. Leaving the corrections on and changing my zone to -6 fixed it. As another test, changed back to -5 (where it should be) and turned on "Automatically detect DST setting". Still seems to be okay.
Trader Posted November 30, 2011 #9 Posted November 30, 2011 I think it must be a neutrino storm occurring.... "More likely a fluctuation or wrinkle in the time/space continium caused by a Romulon warp drive exploding so close to the wormhole! What do you make of it Spock? "Totally illogical!"
