Dragonslayer Posted November 29, 2011 #1 Posted November 29, 2011 My new to me Chrsler Sebring Convertiable has developed it's first glitch. Now the Air bag dash board indicator light keeps coming on, then goes out, then comes back on with a ping warning sound everytime it comes back on. About every 30 to 60 seconds. Does anyone know why it may do this and can tell me how to make it quit doing that. The regular pingging sound is kinda a pain in the arse.
Panjandrum Posted November 29, 2011 #2 Posted November 29, 2011 Do you have something on the front passenger seat... about the weight of a small child?
Dragonslayer Posted November 29, 2011 Author #3 Posted November 29, 2011 Do you have something on the front passenger seat... about the weight of a small child? A cd case about 1/2 pound, it also did it when my son 6'1" 150 lbs was sitting in the seat
Panjandrum Posted November 29, 2011 #4 Posted November 29, 2011 Sounds like you need to see the man at Chrysler.
Mike G in SC Posted November 30, 2011 #5 Posted November 30, 2011 As you are from Georgia,,, Get it up to about 35 MPH,,, hit something stationary. I promise the airbag indicator will go off. (I used to live near Atlanta. If filled up,, family moved to SC.) Just funning, Mike G
friesman Posted November 30, 2011 #6 Posted November 30, 2011 When checking the Sebring convertible forum says its likely to be loose connectors under the seats. it sounds like they come loose over time. the link,... http://www.sebringclub.net/board/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=21564 Brian

Dragonslayer Posted November 30, 2011 Author #10 Posted November 30, 2011 Cows are NOT stationary! No but they're not hard to catch up with
RandyR Posted November 30, 2011 #11 Posted November 30, 2011 I thought you'd bought one ofthe new Goldwings with airbag. btw, its easier to just run the vehicle into your Ex's trailer than it is to hit one of those fast moving cows....

I've thought about running it into the ex's trailer before but, I don't think my son would ever forgive me for that. A cow might be easier.
Dragonslayer Posted December 1, 2011 Author #13 Posted December 1, 2011 I quess I can chalk this one up to one of Milo's many mysteries because the problem has seemed to have corrected itself somehow.

Marcarl Posted December 2, 2011 #15 Posted December 2, 2011 Best leave the cow alone,,, find a bull and piss him off,,, then find a way out there,,, when you get back, all will be quiet.
