Sylvester Posted November 9, 2011 Author #27 Posted November 9, 2011 You know if you ever get rid of the seats and back rest I would love to have them. They would look great on my MM Edition I know where you can have yours recovered just like mine. He is only about twenty miles south of me in South Carolina.
Sylvester Posted November 9, 2011 Author #28 Posted November 9, 2011 Jim, Your bike signal lights are quite bright (for brake and turn). The one on the sidecar was not as obvious (is it LED?). Not required, but I think it did not blink for right turn (but of course the one on the bike does,,, but now that's in the middle of the mass). My observation was: Your bike rear signal lights are bright LED for brake & turn, not "run". Your bike tail light is brake/run, not as bright as the signal LEDs. The sidecar light is brake (as it was daytime, not sure if it was "run" but assume it runs off the bike tail light), not turn. But I wasn't writing this stuff down, so I might be overthinking it today. But I do remember what I had for lunch yesterday,,, oh, and don't eat at the Chinese place in Maiden. Mike G The car tail light is a Harley light so you can't expect it to work right. It isn't a true LED since I bought an LED 360 degree bulb to put in it, that is why it isn't as bright but it does have run and brake. The sidecar turn signal is a dinky amber clearance light on the side above the tail light. I will correct that in the future.
1rooster Posted November 10, 2011 #29 Posted November 10, 2011 Welcome to the sidecar world.looks great. With time and practice you will, learn how to let the sidecar assist in steering the bike.Much easier on the arms.
Freebird Posted November 10, 2011 #30 Posted November 10, 2011 Yes, that is a very nice looking rig. I'm sure you will spend a LOT of time answering questions from admirers any time you stop for something.
