FB.... Changed my Mind Some

Was never one for facebook, and didn't bother with it at all.

Then B2Mom & B2Dad's granddaughter asked me if I would "friend" her from Australia.

So I joined, and the bonus has been to "talk" to some VR members as well

Was just talking to Gary & Mary Nantais, and to GAWildkat :clap2:......... NICE

FB is obviously a great venue - millions upon millions have fallen into the err I mean millions upon millions have jioned or signed up or whatever it is ones does to be able to see/post/read on it.

 

 

Guess I'll never know what makes it special - but that's just me.

Yah! I hardly use FB but was on tonite and sent out a bunch of friend requests, many are members here. Anyone that wants to friend me is welcome. I can always refuse or delete if the need comes but I don't see any reason not to...

I was against it for a long time. I decided to try it out last January, and I ended up forming a group for all of the Plankowners(original crew) of a ship that I served on. I haven't spoke to most of those guys for over 22 years. Out of a crew of 335, I have brought together about 250 of them. We now have our first reunion scheduled for next summer, on the anniversary of our ships' commissioning.

 

Facebook can be used for good or bad. I don't do reposts, or play games or apps, I just use it as another way to keep up with friends and family.

I did not want one for a long time, then as my kids got married and moved away, simply put I miss the hell out of them. Facebook let's me keep in touch, just signed up this week.
