saddlebum Posted October 31, 2011 #1 Posted October 31, 2011 (edited) Too my BEARD and MUSTACHE, which I have worn since shortly after my first daughter was born in 1979. None of my five kids have seen me without a beard. My fellow employees of Sheehan's truck centre have registered with the MOVEMBER CAMPAIGN for PROSTATE and MENS CANCERS. As an incentive I have agreed to completely shave my face if donations from work hit $1,000.00. by november 1st. Edited November 9, 2011 by saddlebum
Guest tx2sturgis Posted October 31, 2011 #2 Posted October 31, 2011 Cool! I have also worn both for 20 years. I think I would feel naked if they were shaved off!
Luvdaleather Posted October 31, 2011 #4 Posted October 31, 2011 You're getting a "two thumbs up" from me and my husband Ken who completely recovered from prostrate cancer thanks to Loma Linda Medical Center and proton treatment. :cool10:We didn't even know that there was a such a thing as Prostrate and Men's Cancer awareness going on. Guess we've either been asleep or it's been played WAY down in our area because aside of black and orange for Halloween, all you're seeing around here is Pink then its time for Xmas! Good luck! Nemo Posted November 2, 2011 #20 Posted November 2, 2011 Wow, I think you actually look younger now. Makes me think of shaving mine off too. And it's also been on for years, also. Good luck to you and your charity. Owen
GAWildKat Posted November 2, 2011 #22 Posted November 2, 2011 I dunno if it's good to say, but I think you look better w/o the beard than with it. And this comes from a wife with a bearded husband. And yes, I love my husband's beard.
Flyinfool Posted November 2, 2011 #23 Posted November 2, 2011 My beard is a winter only thing. Every spring it falls off and ya, you sure do feel naked for a couple of days.
