T.J. Posted October 24, 2011 #1 Posted October 24, 2011 Looking for some used youth helmets for 6, 7 or 8 year olds. Anybody have any laying around that are in great shape? Put a price on them and I will consider. Thanks
etcswjoe Posted October 24, 2011 #2 Posted October 24, 2011 I don't have any laying around but J&P has them starting at about $40.00. I am going to be nosey (tell me to mind my own bussiness if you want) what will they be riding? If I remember correctly in MI they have to be able to touch the footpegs or floorboards in case of the RSV.

They would be riding a Electric Rasor Bike for kids that I picked up and then I would like to take them for a ride on my DRZ-400. They are to small for the Venture right now.
V7Goose Posted October 24, 2011 #4 Posted October 24, 2011 I have two White Vetter full-face helmets in small. Both in like-new condition - you can have them for $20 each plus shipping. I also have a true child's 3/4 helmet (supper thick foam padding to fit just about any small head) in metallic red that shows the typical surface scuff marks from a kid's carelessness. I do not think any are actual scratches - they might all come right off with a little polish. You can have it for just the price of shipping. Goose
T.J. Posted October 24, 2011 Author #5 Posted October 24, 2011 I will take (1 Full Face) and the 3/4. You can send me the info for pay-pal if ya want. Thanks Goose. The Grand kids will be happy and Grandma too.
etcswjoe Posted October 24, 2011 #6 Posted October 24, 2011 I think it is a good thing making them wear helmets I see too many kids riding the "toy bikes" which are not really toys and parents not doing anything as far as protective gear. Hope they have fun.
T.J. Posted October 24, 2011 Author #7 Posted October 24, 2011 Well I am glad I posted the question about youth helmets. I have purchased from Goose so the search is over. Thanks for the input and the helmets Goose.
