It is a 91 Venture Royale. Got it from the origional owner. It has never been rained on. It also came with the Venture side bagliners, trunk rack bag, Continuinty tester, jumper cables, extra 4 new plugs, cover, expanded tool kit and the owner manuel like new also.

It is the fastest color too !!

How many extra switches are added around steering head, looks like about 8?

Gary

Yes the steering head can hold 8 switches. One has to be a little creative during the installation, so when turning the steering clears the wires and terminals.

I did the switches this way on my 89 VR for I did not want to drill any holes in the fairing. Also I'm not to creative in making switch brackets and boxes like some have done. Took me a while before the idea came to me.

On my 89VR I had the following switches.

1) Platium Burners.

2) Electronic Deer Alert

3) Front white Custom Dynamics LED flush against the grill below the headlight to act as a modulator with a flasher.

4) Custom Dynamics Sequential Night Rider Red LED in the rear.

5) Amp Meter.

6 Custom Dynamics 5 Color Phycho Accent Light

I will install the above after I put on Progressive Spring after Christ-mas.

I also want to put a GW vent in the windshield once I understand all the details.

That's an awesome looking bike, and I like the aux. switch placement. Something I've never seen before...... :thumbsup2:

Couple of the longer switches needs some thin double sided tape for the fit is a bit loose. The smaller two lowers ones needs to have a set of diagional edges filed to fit. I can't imagine one needing more that 8 switches, but if one did need a couple more I think the top right long switch can hold 2 smaller switches.

I use Back to Black. The duller the Black the more coats it needs.

If it is very dull I use a sponge brush to put it on let it soak in good.

As I was installing 4 Stebel Electric horns this morning I looked at the radiator cap and was dishearted to see what I thought was the label on the radiator cap pealing off. As I tried to push it back on, only to discover that the pealing was the thin clear protective label cover.
