I found this site and wanted to share with all. I am not sure if they make these for first and second gens, but looks like it maybe. They show the Royal Star and then the Venture ? So just some information for anyone interested. Good prices I think. I have sent them an e-mail to learn what thickness the covers are and if they are shorn sheep wool. Will update if recieve information back from e-mail.

I've ridden 3+ seasons with mine and aside from needing cleaning, it's still like new. It's big enough to cover both seats. I have the Mustang seat w/ driver backrest, so all I did was cut a slit for the backrest post to go through. Easy to put on & take off. Doesn't have any padding however, if that's what you're looking for.

Or if you just want a non-fitted sheep skin, IKEA has nice ones for $20 or $30 (don't remember, it's been a while since I got mine).

 

Make sure you go to an IKEA store in a different town than where you live. If a friend sees you in there, they will revoke your Mancard.

I can vouch for alaskan leather large sheared butt pad delux (uniform 1 inch thick) with nose strap...

 

If it's really hot out and your literally sticking to the seat it sure helps...

 

Also helps in the cold weather...

I get the IKEA off eBay. I can cut two seat covers out of one skin. I always have some smaller pads left for my freinds that ride Sportsters as passengers.

Thanks Mike, I looked for that site last night forever and could not for the life of me. I saw every thing else made by them though, flooring/furniture and so on.

Thanks for this to all whom mentioned the IKEA stores. This is all new to me. I can not find a store in Kentucky. All the stores show them for $29.00. Closes store to me is here;
