Aussie Annie Posted November 3, 2011 #26 Posted November 3, 2011 Got no mooses over here...... can send you some wild camels though :rotf:
Gary N. Posted November 3, 2011 #27 Posted November 3, 2011 I'm not tooo concerned yet, but by Monday I will have to decide if it's a go. So, if you all can plan that far ahead,, IT WOULD BE HELPFUL INDEED. Maybe a few PMs would be in order.
BradT Posted November 3, 2011 #28 Posted November 3, 2011 Maybe a few PMs would be in order. The phone works better. BRad
Marcarl Posted November 3, 2011 Author #29 Posted November 3, 2011 Got no mooses over here...... can send you some wild camels though :rotf: That would be real nice,,, but I think I did mention no gifts for the missus, we don't have any room at our house. We might have been able to keep that camel in the garage, but now she is filling it with garden stuff,,, and it isn't going to lodge in our bedroom!!! So Thanks, but no thanks,,, on a live one anyways.
Marcarl Posted November 3, 2011 Author #30 Posted November 3, 2011 Maybe a few PMs would be in order. I already did that,, but thanks for the suggestion. The reason you didn't get one, is that you already said you were coming, so I didn't need to bug you again,,,, I didn't get one either.
Marcarl Posted November 3, 2011 Author #31 Posted November 3, 2011 The phone works better. BRad Did you want me to call you to give you instructions on how to post on the calendar? It may come to that, we'll see by Monday.
Sweetnothing Posted November 3, 2011 #32 Posted November 3, 2011 You know if we could, we would be there!! Give her a BIG :bighug:for us!! And a too!!
bongobobny Posted November 3, 2011 #33 Posted November 3, 2011 (edited) Becky and I will be leaving our place around 3:30 if there are any locals that want to ride with us. BradT Posted November 4, 2011 #34 Posted November 4, 2011 Did you want me to call you to give you instructions on how to post on the calendar? It may come to that, we'll see by Monday. Its on my calendar, not sure where your lookin. Brad
Marcarl Posted November 4, 2011 Author #35 Posted November 4, 2011 Its on my calendar, not sure where your lookin. Brad Sure,,,,, blame it on your better half,,,,,, glad I didn't have to come over there to show you how it is done....... thanks for posting!
Gary N. Posted November 4, 2011 #36 Posted November 4, 2011 Over half way there Carl. Where the heck are those Mich. guys. it's not that far to go. Oh, I forgot, never mind. Michigan is in the USA. The border police might not let them back...LOL.
Sweetnothing Posted November 4, 2011 #37 Posted November 4, 2011 Over half way there Carl. Where the heck are those Mich. guys. it's not that far to go. Oh, I forgot, never mind. Michigan is in the USA. The border police might not let them back...LOL. They let us back in....but we are from Texas!! Still wish we could make it!
Marcarl Posted November 8, 2011 Author #38 Posted November 8, 2011 OK I'm starting to worry a little here:think:,, I was hoping for 60 souls, but we're just a wee bit over half way,,,, enough to carry on for sure, but I was certainly hoping for at least close to 60,,,,,,, so if you're sitting on the fence:buttkick:,,,,,,,,, Seeing as this is a planned party it would be only fair to give the cook a heads up on the numbers:happy65:
Marcarl Posted November 8, 2011 Author #39 Posted November 8, 2011 They let us back in....but we are from Texas!! Still wish we could make it! We sure would love it as well,,,,,, but there is always tomorrow,, and if tomorrow don't come, it wouldn't matter anyways.
Marcarl Posted November 8, 2011 Author #41 Posted November 8, 2011 Send me a ticket and I will be there. Since when do you need a ticket to ride?? We don't plan on it, but you could,,,, well at least use it for an excuse.
bongobobny Posted November 8, 2011 #42 Posted November 8, 2011 Hmmmm, what Beatles song did that last post remind me of...
etcswjoe Posted November 8, 2011 #43 Posted November 8, 2011 Since when do you need a ticket to ride?? We don't plan on it, but you could,,,, well at least use it for an excuse. It is only a 14 hour ride pretty much straight up, but I don't think my body could stand it right now. I will just wish you the best and wish the misses a great day.
Sweetnothing Posted November 8, 2011 #44 Posted November 8, 2011 We sure would love it as well,,,,,, but there is always tomorrow,, and if tomorrow don't come, it wouldn't matter anyways. Thats for sure!! I still have all of my yesterday memories!!
Marcarl Posted November 11, 2011 Author #45 Posted November 11, 2011 Please pay attention,,, there are changes to be made to the plan. We WILL be at the same restaurant. We WILL eat good. We WILL have fun......... BUT. We need to change the time. When Marca turned 50, I set up a party that included 50,,, yes 50,,, of her friends,,, boy does she have a lot of friends. She said last night: YOU ARE NOT DOING that again are you??? I said NO!!!!! She said, well, I was just thinking about why Gary and Mary were coming over. OH OH..... Anyways, this time it's got to be different,,,, YA, Marca and I will arrive at Scot's at just before 7. So our green Saab will be sitting by the front door. Please don't arrive until after we have. The difference is that we will be settled in and then people can start arriving so as not to surprise her big time,,, just a little smaller, one at a time. maybe she'll like that better. See you all there. Carl
