FROG MAN Posted December 23, 2007 #1 Posted December 23, 2007 If you have a house full of kids and grandkids over for christmas. You might want to step outside late at night or just before dawn. The red planet Mars is quite a sight this month and should peak on the 24th. It should be quite viewable through early January. I wish I had got into astronomy as a kid but my 9 year old son gives me a second chance.
oldandcrotchety Posted December 23, 2007 #2 Posted December 23, 2007 "...just before dawn..." Before dawn??? Before dawn!!?? Why I couldn't get my kids OR grandkids out of bed before dawn if it was to see the second coming, much less look at a planet............
FROG MAN Posted December 23, 2007 Author #3 Posted December 23, 2007 The lights are always on at my house day or night. This place never sleeps at the same time.
