GaryZ Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I would love to build one of these for the street using a Venture Royale and Vmax engine! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-R6-Turned-Into-Street-Quad-Must-SEE-R1-YFZ-450-RAPTOR-700-R-/270833791592?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item3f0ef3b268#v4-39 Can this thing be street legal in your state?
Yammer Dan Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 With a Venture engine you could use the shaft drive and get rid of that exposed chain. I could see it being trouble if much off-road stuff was done.
etcswjoe Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I always wanted to build a go kart with a Venture engine, my neighbor built one with a Habosa engine and thet thing flat out flies.
Flyinfool Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Not in Wisconsin. One to many wheels for a cycle and not enough protection to be a car. Now if you made this out of your VR / Vmax and kept the single rear wheel...........
bongobobny Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Yah! That one is definately off road use only...
Yamamike Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Can you say GIDDYUP!! :scared:I can just imagine drifting corners on a dirt road with that puppy! Woohoo! Ride safe, Mike

Now if you made this out of your VR / Vmax and kept the single rear wheel........... Same here (MI). If it's got more than 3 wheels it's not a motorcycle and must have all the safety equipment of a passenger car.
Lil Venturous Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Im thinking a farm use only tag would work around here out of the city for a while, I would at least try it.
Vance Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 You'll have a serious face full of dirt without any fenders on that.
