Handyman Posted October 15, 2011 #1 Posted October 15, 2011 Has anyone tried this and in your opinion did it improve performance and milage as claimed. Thanks Richard
Freebird Posted October 15, 2011 #2 Posted October 15, 2011 No, in my opinion, it's a complete waste of time.
dingy Posted October 15, 2011 #3 Posted October 15, 2011 Called the Jason Mod. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=501 Makes idling rougher & no real gain. The length of the vacuum hoses is about the same as the piston stroke, so there is only the same air being pushed back & forth in a 5/32" hose. Gary
Handyman Posted October 15, 2011 Author #4 Posted October 15, 2011 Thanks for the response, my AIS has been disabled. Would I be better off to plug all four ports. I have two plugged now. Will I need to sync again if I plug all four? Thanks Richard
muaymendez1 Posted October 15, 2011 #5 Posted October 15, 2011 I did mine and it made the idle rougher and when i resynched the carbs 3 months later due to surgng the synch was way off. i plugged them back up and all is fine. No difference in milage though.

Shouldn't affect the sync at all but being as it takes about 10 minutes to sync them, you may as well check them anyway.
