tufftom4 Posted October 13, 2011 Share #1 Posted October 13, 2011 I finaly got well enough to go back to Ga and get my trailer. I just left Kirbys house and I think his dogs wanted me and my two small ones for lunch. I got it back to the campground and can't believe the stuff I packed and how the Venture was able to tow it. I still want to say thanks to my Venture family for helping me out during this ordeal.

Kirby Posted October 13, 2011 Share #4 Posted October 13, 2011 Tom it was a privilege for me to help out. You just need to be extremely careful in all you attempt to undertake for at least another month. Get well soon my friend!!! Hope the next few days are enjoyable for you. jrsain Posted October 13, 2011 Share #5 Posted October 13, 2011 A shout out to you Tufftom4 from across the state in Cape Coral. We bought our 07 RSTD from Treasure Coast Honda/Kawasaki the second week of August. We traded our 04 Honda VTX 1800 C. We rode around that afternoon and into the evening. We headed North over the bridge/causeway on Seaway Dr. A1A out to the inlet then south along the ocean on A1A to the NE Causeway to the mainland. We turned north to run along the bay and ate dinner at Conchy Joes just north of the bridge. BTW it was good food and not bad prices. It was dark when we finished our dinner and continued along the bay side, what an enjoyable ride on a new to us bike.

Not good. Glad you are getting out just be carefull.
Rick Haywood Posted October 14, 2011 Share #8 Posted October 14, 2011 I am heading to Crooked river st park near the border of Ga and Fl tomorow if anyone wants to have a bbg or hang with a cripple. Tom Glad you are getting better my friend. My ribs are better. Night before last my wife said it was the first time since my accident that I was able to get into bed without a moan in pain. Got mine all back together and it looks good as new. Did you get a new bike yet? Enjoy the weekend. Rick
