winger53215 Posted October 9, 2011 #1 Posted October 9, 2011 ting these next weekend. I think these will look nice and add a safety factor. http://www.rivcoproducts.com/products/product.php?productid=558&cat=199&page=1
Sylvester Posted October 9, 2011 #2 Posted October 9, 2011 I have a very simlar set that I bought in 2003 from JC Whitney. They have clearance light and turn signal. They do not have the "in mirror turn signal". They have been flawless for all these years.
The Marshal Posted October 9, 2011 #3 Posted October 9, 2011 I have them on my RSTD. I believe they have been a great help to having others see me in traffic. It puts the yellow running lights and red turn signal at eye level to the cars. Even had a guy tell me in a parking lot that they were very noticeable on the road. I would re-buy them for any future bike. Don't get put off by the bright red flashing, after awhile you will hardly notice it.
Roadhand Posted October 9, 2011 #4 Posted October 9, 2011 I have Murth mirrows on my wing and they are pretty much the same. I rate these high on a safety scale. I do believe the folks behind you see the turn lights in the mirrors.
SteveP Posted October 10, 2011 #5 Posted October 10, 2011 I have a very simlar set that I bought in 2003 from JC Whitney. They have clearance light and turn signal. They do not have the "in mirror turn signal". They have been flawless for all these years. Any chance you can post a few close-up pics of how you ran the wires? I'd like to add LED mirrors, but don't want the wires to stand out. It would be helpful to see how you ran yours.
saddlebum Posted October 10, 2011 #6 Posted October 10, 2011 They look sharp and I sure can appreciate the safty factor. I am not sure however I would like having those in mirror signals, flashing in my face while riding, speacially at night.
