Godlover Posted October 4, 2011 #1 Posted October 4, 2011 I haven't posted here for awhile as I haven't had a ride. Today I traded my 53 Mercury for a 98 Ultra Classic Anniversary edition that is pretty sweet. I decided I would rather be riding then sitting at a car show!
Aussie Annie Posted October 4, 2011 #2 Posted October 4, 2011 Sounds like a plan glad you're back in the saddle. just need to change the bike you have listed under your avatar now

Marcarl Posted October 4, 2011 #8 Posted October 4, 2011 Trading a Ford for an HD,,, well the jury is still out. Never mind my smart remarks,, you get to ride!!!!!!!! and sitting at car shows is nice at first, but boring after a time or two,,,, I think you made a good choice. ENJOY!!!!

Godlover Posted October 5, 2011 Author #10 Posted October 5, 2011 The guy rode his Harley down for the trade and then got cold feet and wasn't sure he wants to part with the Harley. He will let me know today. No big deal. I posted a picture of my Merc when I first got it. If the deal doesn't go thru I might trade for a Tour Deluxe. I am asking 8000 for the Merc. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=61600&highlight=Mercury

Yammer Dan Posted October 6, 2011 #15 Posted October 6, 2011 That Merc is sharp. I'm sure something else will come along.
Alabamacameo Posted October 6, 2011 #16 Posted October 6, 2011 U should just keep the Merc, do the car shows on Saturday when the AC is available...and ride the 2 wheeler during the fall and spring....LOL.
Godlover Posted October 7, 2011 Author #17 Posted October 7, 2011 If I ever have any free Saturdays! Since last Saturday I have had 4 funerals (got out of doing the 5th) - one wedding and got called at midnight last night to go to the ER. Now I have a guy dying in hospice wing. Looking forward to a week of vacation later this month.
