Hi I was wondering if anyone had an old windshield that will fit my bike. I dont care on condition as I am going to cut it down to a shorty, scuff it and flame it to match my bike.

Thanks in advance,

Paul

Scuffed dinged windshields go fairly cheap on Ebay.

Yeah I figured I could find one on ebay but figured I would try here first as someone might have something laying around out in the shop or garage. Dave thanks and let me know. I want it to be a nice shorty that only comes up a couple inches past the height of the dash, for when it is middle of summer and hot (back to bugs in my teeth). In the spring and fall when its a little cooler I will put my stock shield back on.

Thanks again,

Paul

Paul-

This is the windshield I have. The metal looks as though it will unbolt pretty easily but it would leave holes if you cut above it. Sorry for the delay it taking the pictures (great camera I have)

Dave, that looks like a 2nd gen windshield. Is it cut on the bottom so it fits your bike? I looked at the pics of your bike and I see the same style on yours so I am guessing that it is cut to fit the first gen. I f thats the case pm me and let me know what you want for it and I will send you the funds right away. I am not so worried about the bolts and the metal trim as it will be painted to match the bike and I will just remove them and fill the holes before paint.

Talk to you soon and have a great holiday,

Paul

Paul-

Sorry to be delayed in sending the winshield! But, Christmas provided a box that I could send it in and then we spent a couple of days with my younger son at his basketball tournament in Las Vegas.

Well, we're back home and got it all taken care of this afternoon. Check your PM for the details of the shipment.

Enjoy!!

Dave
