FuzzyRSTD Posted September 26, 2011 #1 Posted September 26, 2011 (edited) Here is mine. Not boasting here, just thought it would be nice to see some different ideas. I know of at least two members here whom are in the process of building a garage. My garage has a small 4'x6' porch and the garage is 28' wide and 40' long. Used sheet rock on the inside walls,4" insulation in walls and 6" in the ceiling with insulated 10' wide x 8' tall garage doors . Never been below 38 degrees in my garage with out heat and at 5 below zero out side. Love my garage ...... Gary N. Posted September 26, 2011 #10 Posted September 26, 2011 56 X 32 and full of old cars. Sorry for the bad pic but it's the only one I could fine. Don't have the truck anymore.
Yammer Dan Posted September 26, 2011 #11 Posted September 26, 2011 Come on Skid. Show them what a garage is....
bj66 Posted September 26, 2011 #12 Posted September 26, 2011 Due to flooding etc the last few years. The wife and I are gonna start over next year and build a new house and garage where it is high and dry. No basement in the house, so that means a rather large garage for the vehicles, plus storage. I'm planning on having a breezeway going into the garage with a rec room/summer room as well. So its gonna be a big one if everything goes as planned. Gonna start with a 50 x 60 pole building and go from there!!! So by all means, lets see some pics and ideas. I might have to change mine!
elmicko Posted September 26, 2011 #13 Posted September 26, 2011 I don't have a really big garage, but I like it. Yes, it is carpeted and there's food and beverage close at hand. Take a look. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b303/elmicko2002/Garage1.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b303/elmicko2002/Garage2.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b303/elmicko2002/Garage3.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b303/elmicko2002/Garage4.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b303/elmicko2002/Garage5.jpg

Only thing I would change is the beverage, I like coke/lemonade/koolade or water. Thanks for posting, nice set up, wow, carpet.

elmicko Posted September 29, 2011 #18 Posted September 29, 2011 Wow, now that is something else. Only thing I would change is the beverage, I like coke/lemonade/koolade or water. Thanks for posting, nice set up, wow, carpet. LOL...the beverage dispenser was an aftermarket add-on. The garage was pretty cool without it, but if you find yourself with an extra fridge you gotta find something cool to do with it. Besides a lemonade dispenser wouldn't have quite the same flair. The carpet was a lucky find. They remodeled our building at work and that was the old carpet. They're just 3' squares of commercial carpet and it really keeps the dust down in the garage.
Siscakidd Posted September 29, 2011 #19 Posted September 29, 2011 This 35 by 65 pole barn was on the property when I bought the house,so I built a wall down the center, poured a concrete floor ,insulated the walls, tin ceiling ,twin post lift, should have used two thirds of it not half,oh well here's the vid [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d2ZwOXsgpU&feature=youtube_gdata_player]My shop - YouTube[/ame]
