Tartan Terror Posted September 22, 2011 #1 Posted September 22, 2011 I Stopped being lazy! Tell me what you think!
dingy Posted September 22, 2011 #2 Posted September 22, 2011 It is purdy. A lot of TLC in that for sure. Gary
LilBeaver Posted September 22, 2011 #6 Posted September 22, 2011 Very cool! Definitely should be proud of that one. :thumbsup2:

TheKid Posted September 22, 2011 #12 Posted September 22, 2011 really nice looking scoot. Is that all real gold leaf and pinstriping? You def have some love and care in that. I love the FIRE ENGINE RED.
RedRider Posted September 22, 2011 #13 Posted September 22, 2011 You are certainly working with the best canvas. Love the powercoated wheels (the rest of the bike is unbelieveably nice also). RR
Tartan Terror Posted September 22, 2011 Author #14 Posted September 22, 2011 Thanks guys. It was a work in progress. Now with all my added responsibility I usually need the truck. Maybe a trailer to look like a hose cart!! LOL
AKRefugee Posted September 22, 2011 #15 Posted September 22, 2011 Nice Nice Nice a tribute bike that is actually able to be ridden. Excellent job there.
marczing Posted September 22, 2011 #16 Posted September 22, 2011 I'm also a firefighter and was thinking of redoing my red 2000 with the same pain code we use for our trucks. One of the things holding me back was decals and striping. Where'd you get the gold leaf decals? Did I mention I'm insanely jealous?
Yammer Dan Posted September 23, 2011 #18 Posted September 23, 2011 A 1st Gen could get to the fires faster:whistling: Good to see you back that is still a purty one!!
bongobobny Posted September 23, 2011 #19 Posted September 23, 2011 Naw, waaaay too clean!! You got to ride it and get it dirty son... Lookin' good, Scotty!!!!!
lshafer Posted September 23, 2011 #21 Posted September 23, 2011 As a fellow firefighter I too am jealous as almighty $@ll. Ive wanted to do that to mine for a long time but it's difficult to find the right stuff. Our fire trucks are black and orange so I could make my midnight really neat when compared to our trucks. I love your bike and it's great to see a fire edition Royal Star. Awesome !!
marczing Posted September 23, 2011 #22 Posted September 23, 2011 I'm biting my tongue at the urge to comment on the way another brother's rigs are painted As a fellow firefighter I too am jealous as almighty $@ll. lshafer Posted September 23, 2011 #23 Posted September 23, 2011 I'm biting my tongue at the urge to comment on the way another brother's rigs are painted Now, now. I'll tell you right now they are beautiful trucks. We get nothing but compliments on them. We've had people from all over the state and even across the country come look at them. We're just trying to show some pride. They are our school colors. It's nice to have something different than plain old red.
marczing Posted September 23, 2011 #24 Posted September 23, 2011 I guess it's a first gen vs second gen kinda thing Now, now. I'll tell you right now they are beautiful trucks.
