Sleeperhawk Posted November 19, 2011 Author #26 Posted November 19, 2011 Must have been about the same time frame as my issues with them. But after two weeks, I started placing email and daily phone calls to them. It took close to two months to get my order and I am glad I order two sets, don't want to go through that again.
Guest Posted November 21, 2011 #27 Posted November 21, 2011 I went ahead and ordered a kit from HID Country last week since my high beam no longer works with the Canadian Cruiser set-up and since CCC really didnt want to resolve the issue while it was under warranty for another problem. So I decided to try HIDC. Placed my order when I saw that they had 3 kits in stock at 54.00 a kit. Got a phone call from them saying that the part is out of stock and will be in stock within a week. They did charge my PayPal account though, which may have been to my advantage. When I looked closer on their site it did say -3 in stock, which means that they were backordered 3 sets. I checked the site today and it still showed -3 but the price was also raised from 54.00 to 74.00. So, paying the lesser amount at the time may have saved me 20 bucks had I waited until the kit finally was in stock to order. Since im not riding anyway right now im in no rush. Ill give them until next week to see where we are with this order. Disregard the above stuff. I wasnt paying attention, most likely due to a dose of hydracodone that day, but I posted info from the wrong site. The pricing info and backorder info was from the Canadian Cruiser site, not HID country. I hit the wrong saved link and the CCC site came up and I thought it was the HIDC site. So, while the part is still backordered, the price remains the same. Geting old really sux.......
Guest Posted November 22, 2011 #28 Posted November 22, 2011 Called HID Country soon after the last post. Not a friendly bunch. They seemed annoyed that I was bothering them. Told me the part shipped out already but I never received a tracking #. Mail came a few minutes later and the package was there. I was surprised that there were individual pieces in bubble wrap and not boxed like the CCC kit was. They just tossed it into a cardboard Priority envelope and mailed it. Hope it works. Hey George, did your set-up arrive unboxed as well?

lonewolf96 Posted November 22, 2011 #30 Posted November 22, 2011 For those interested looking for other options, Custom Dynamics offers an HID conversion kit for these bikes as well. They are really great people to deal with and if I were going to order the kit it would be from them. I currently have the new Sylvania ZXE bulb in mine and I'm very satisfied with it's lght output. It's almost as bright as the HID but brighter than the Silverstar Ultra I had in it before.
