2nd Gear Kit

As a winter project plan to fix the 2nd gear issue on my 84. I've read the how-to articles which are very informative. I read somewhere that Yamaha sells a 2nd gear kit for this repair but can't find the part number. Anyone have it?

There is a list of individual part numbers in the tech library but I've never seen mention of an actual kit.

I believe the best way to do it, and a lot cheaper, is get a complete trans out of an 86/93 Venture. They come up on EBAY occasionally. Before you order, give me a call.
