anyone seen one of these "alarms"

this thing was put on by the PO but i cant find any info on it and think ill just yank it off, instead of trying to make it work it does not have fuse in it so im afraid it will screw up something if i try, have to trace the wire but havent done it yet . it is wired to fuse box acc fuse and one wire to right horn. and another wire heading under battery to some where towards front of eng. but havent traced that one all way yet. anyway, just wondering if anyone seen on of these and what the hell it does if powered ?

I think I would just remove it.

 

If it is just those 3 wires, they are probably power, ground, and the connection to sound the horn. It might just be a tilt switch that will sound the horn if the bike is moved.

 

Just make sure that it does not have something like a starter interrupt that will disable your starter or ignition if you remove it.

It might run up to the start switch.

Google the make model and serial number and quite often you will be able to locate an owners manual in pdf form right from the manufacture
