I paid 11 & 9/10s cents per Gallon. A gas war in Colorado. I kept my big Buick Invicti full!! This was in 1970.

Hasn't it? I made about $85 a week in 1974 and gas was around 45 cents a gallon. After doing some desciffering I believe my wages have went up more than gas, percentage wise.

We had fun with that, at the shop in Wainwright..... The coins were, epoxied to the floor, so if someone wanted them, they had to work for them.........

Yeah, I had a wise a$$ do that in front of his gun shop with a silver dollar. I went back to the car and got a hammer and chisel. Easy.. I think I still have that dollar in a jar somewhere....
