Thanks to everyone who responded to my question.

This issue was handled with the utmost class and diplomacy by our entire membership.

Don is a natural born leader and a truly good and fair person. We are lucky to have him.

Hopefully Dakotasport was one in a million who will join this "family" and there will be no further threads like this one.

That was something I will never forget. First time I ever got thrown out of a PARKING LOT for being too loud. I told you to quiet the ladies down.....:rotf:

Guess what showed up in my mail today? A check from DakotaSport for $250 (he owed me $265 since I paid $15 for shipping - but I'm not complaining).

 

Don, apparently, you did some good. Envelope was postmarked 12/18.

You were only going to get tossed from the parking lot, at Vogel, at my cabin, where the party was going on, we had to be warned not once but twice about how loud we were, this is a very loud family we have here. One more warning and I think we would have all been tossed from the park, as a side note, I think the only person we were disturbing was the park ranger, since their quarters were right across the road from my cabin.

 

Don, you did good as usual in handling this problem, if you hadnt stepped in, I think it would have turned into a lynch mob..............:rotf::rotf:

Glad to hear that you got most of your money back. Sometimes a few well chosen words can help. Sometimes not. Glad that SOMETHING worked in this situation though. Hopefully he will take care of the other issue also.

Glad to hear about RedRider's positive results. I tossed Tim an email asking for shipping/tracking info.. no response for a week. So emailed him again, as a reminder and asked the same question, but included a paste of his email to me saying he would be putting it in the mail, monday past.. Haven't gone into any heavy dialog, and hope to avoid any heavy handed action.

 

Update: Figured it was important to update my post. Got my package in the mail today. He even tossed in chrome deflectors, as an "extra", so I am 100% satisfied.
