I live in White Center,I bought the bike from a guy in Renton up by lake youngs.I ran a tank of gas thru the old girl yesterday with seafoam in it and it helped a little.It's not smoking as bad now but still smoking.I lowered the oil level yesterday also to 1/2 way on the site glass when cold.I was going to pull the plugs today BUT as you know our weather turned bad and I have not been able to do it.I did notice yesterday that it took me almost 1/2 a tank of gas to go from White center to Covington and back,2 up,so I think my problem is in the fuel system.Maybe sometime in the near future we can meet up and I can see what a good running 1st gen is and you can see what I'm talking about.. GeorgeS Posted October 29, 2006 Share #27 Posted October 29, 2006 OK, I would suggest keep running the Sea-Foam, and do the Carb bowl drain, each one several times, run some miles, then drain again.
