friesman Posted September 12, 2011 Share #28 Posted September 12, 2011 No dumb questions right so what is seafoam an whats it for Its the only gas additive most of us have ever found that does what it says. I ride an 85 that wasnt desgned to run ethynol and it leaves a varnish in the carbs very quickly. Seafoam really does keep my bike running better, I can feel when its not running right and even missing and within a 100 miles of using seafoam my bike runs so much better. ( I do use 1/3 of a can in a half tank of gas when its running poorly). Seafoam is also a fuel stabilizer so you can store your bike using seafoam in the fuel and it starts right up after winter. Brian :sign yeah that: Use it regular and you will prevent most of the problems that these bikes can have.

ablumny Posted September 19, 2011 Share #31 Posted September 19, 2011 Tried my first can of SeaFoam this weekend before a long ride. Bikes been running rough for a long time. Had the carbs syncd which helped for a while but not perfect. Still rough and a little backfiring. Put half a can in a full tank, put the rest in on next tank and thats it, im sold. This engine runs smooth as new. No popping and i can totally feel the thing is smoother with nearly no engine vibration. I didnt pay attention to mpg but i will and assume i should see an improvement. So you know when you buy something like this you want it to work to the point you believe it is whether it is or not. I dont think thats the case here. I was very aware of this all day and beleive it does what it and everyone here said. Great product. Just bought 10 cans for me and my pals using the code. Thanks!
