No Heat!

OK, I turned the gas off to my house , to remove some gas appliances , and well Now my furnace wont come on, So ya ll will know it has a spark starter kind of like a grill. Tried the directions about turning off for 5 min, and all that stuff. Please help me!.....Fred

i dont know if they all work the same way....but mine, i have to light it with a lighter ( flame) and as i light it, i have to keep the 'on' 'off' knob pressed down for about a minute, then let go and turn it 'on' all the way. its turned half way when lighting, keeping the knob pressed down.

Sounds like you have air in the line. You can break a fitting loose to let the air out and when you smell the gas coming out tighten the fitting, but if you don't know what you are doing this could be dangerious. If you do this, let the gas clear out of the room before trying to start the furnace again.

Dang breakers, glad its on now It sure was cold here today, 40* when i went to work:cold: but bettern then my sons place in NH

Gonna check my breaker right away. Does it get warmer with the breaker on? Man I glad to be part of this site, you're even allowed to figure out your own problems. YaHOO!!!

Gee, I was gonna ask if you paid your gas bill lately...

Its a gas heater,but the blower motor breaker was some how mysteriously turned off when i was working on the new range:whistling::whistling:....Fred
