03 650 vstar clutch cable change

hello

my brother has a 03 vstar 650 we are to go riding in the nc mountains tomorrow but he wants me to change his cluthch cable first is this hard to do and how do you adj it

Should be self evident changing the cable. Loosen up the adjusters slip the end out of the socket and route new cable the same way as the old one. Adjust the lever so you have slack with it all the way out and it disengages when all the way in. You adjust untill you have the friction zone where you want it. Good luck Rod
