seabeetom Posted September 1, 2011 #1 Posted September 1, 2011 I have an opportunity to purchase an 8x12 2010 enclosed trailer for $3k tomorrow. (distress sale, used once) Is this overkill on size to haul the Hannigan. What (I know, no one trailers their RSV) size trailer do you use?
kj5ix Posted September 1, 2011 #2 Posted September 1, 2011 A perfect fit with a little room on the sides, just make sure that the ramp wires are wide enough.. It is 61.5 wide, so 70 + inch between the wire is good.
Carbon_One Posted September 1, 2011 #3 Posted September 1, 2011 (edited) The trikes are about 12ft long and 5 ft wide. Hannigans a bit wider(don't know the exact size) Make sure you have the roof clearance for the windshield when driving on & off. Other than that I don't think the trailer is overkill. The extra space will allow you to add storage compartments or whatever. Larry Edited October 19, 2011 by Carbon_One Found out that the Hannigan trikes are 2 feet longer then mine is at 10ft.
1 - UP Posted September 2, 2011 #4 Posted September 2, 2011 Tom I have to agree with the others. Mine is 62 inches wide. Just make sure that the opening is wide enough to get in. Price sounds real good. Ken MCB 53

Problem solved,,, picked up a 2007 23' R-Vision Boogey Box, at an excellent price. Fully self contained camper with plenty of deck space for the trike and trailer.
