Valve Covers fit??

Will 07 valve covers fit on a 1st Gen. Same gaskets aren't they?

Yep. Used 2nd gens on my '84. They have a nice lip all around them that makes install much easier. A little trimming was needed after install but not much.

I would almost wager they would, cams interchange, so the cam retainers may be similar. Like you said valve cover gaskets interchange.

 

Why not get a set of VMax covers, they do look nice. And they will interchange for sure.

 

Did you see my email about the TCI's are on the way to me?

Do'h! COVER! I missed the key word there. Same thing happened at my wedding.

Saw that Gary. I thought they could be a set to polish up and sell to someone who likes the shiney stuff. Or put on "Brown Sugar"

Got the 07 set today. Compared them to 84's and they are the same. I think.... Look great be easy to polish up. Good looking set of gaskets with them. 1 washer missing but that won't be a problem.
