MAINEAC Posted December 17, 2007 #7 Posted December 17, 2007 Putting an extended swing arm on a ninja??? Isn't that like putting slicks on a Jeep?
eagleeye Posted December 17, 2007 #8 Posted December 17, 2007 Sounds familiar, I've also got a project for the winter. I've stretched the swingarm 3 1/2" and raked the front end to 40 deg, cut all the junk off of the frame, got some 5" over tubes and away we go. Mine is an XS650. Still have lots to do to it. But it will be bare bones for sure. Have fun with your project, Steve
CrazyHorse Posted December 18, 2007 #9 Posted December 18, 2007 Your my hero 64 years old and modifying a ZX14 let alone riding one.
Snarley Bill Posted December 18, 2007 Author #10 Posted December 18, 2007 Putting an extended swing arm on a ninja??? Isn't that like putting slicks on a Jeep? not if you want to keep the front end on the ground.
