Loose Highway Board

The left side highway foot rest is loose. The allen screws are tight, but cant get enough squeeze on the bar. Any ideas what I can use as a shim to allow the screws to pull the clamp together tighter on the bar? Thanks for the help.

Wet or dry sandpaper with abrasive on clamp side worked for mine.

I ve heard of peaple cutting a shim or 2 out of aluminum beer or soda cans and add as many as needed.

Yes, any of the above will work or even just a couple wraps of electrical tape.

Just as good as electrical tape but has a sticky surface on the oout side is non adhesive medical tape. i asked my nurse for some when I was going for blood tests and I used it on clamps for the ex pass holder.
