utadventure Posted August 14, 2011 #115 Posted August 14, 2011 We add our prayers and faith to that of those before. Both Ponch and LilBit are wonderful people. Sorry to hear of this. Dave & Jan
RSTDdog Posted August 14, 2011 #117 Posted August 14, 2011 Have never met him, but tragic nonetheless. Thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. On another note in terms of help, even with good insurance, 30 days minimum in the hospital, out of work and rehab after, their out of pocket will be huge. Can we set up a fund for donations and who here usually manages that? Someone close in Houston would be ideal. If Ponch has a paypal addy, using that would be another option I suppose. No matter how you slice it ( please no one take offense) prayers wont pay the bills. All the best and speedy recovery for him and his family. Derrek RSTDdog

Freebird Posted August 14, 2011 #121 Posted August 14, 2011 Prayers are certainly on the way. I've been busy at a trade show in Long Beach, CA all day and just got back to my hotel and saw this news. It truly breaks my heart. Ponch is absolutely one of the finest person that I know. He is always the first to offer help and lend a hand to anybody who may need it. I will be praying for him constantly and sure want to know if there is anything else that we can do.
