Gyronut Posted August 11, 2011 #1 Posted August 11, 2011 How many hrs do you guys spend rideing per week on average. For me I ride about 12 hrs.
Rick Haywood Posted August 11, 2011 #3 Posted August 11, 2011 somewhere between 25-30 on an average week.
chabicheka Posted August 11, 2011 #6 Posted August 11, 2011 How many hrs do you guys spend rideing per week on average. For me I ride about 12 hrs. will have an answer next week... i just set up a stop watch besides the bed today.
Flyinfool Posted August 11, 2011 #7 Posted August 11, 2011 If the weather cooperates I will get 10 hours with just commuting to work. Commuting is 90% of my riding.
Michael_Bishop Posted August 11, 2011 #8 Posted August 11, 2011 Being retired it verys on time. Sometimes 4 hour to 20 hours. Depends on the honey do list.
clarkrcdc Posted August 11, 2011 #9 Posted August 11, 2011 About 20 hrs. a week ...15 going to work 5 pleasure...
Eck Posted August 11, 2011 #12 Posted August 11, 2011 Lets see.. 20 minutes to work...20 minutes back home Times (X) 5 days a week Dang, I'm getting less then a total of 5 hours riding time in a week.. No wonder my panties are in a wad..:biker:
Kregerdoodle Posted August 11, 2011 #14 Posted August 11, 2011 15-20 on avg. to %$#@ Hot to do much on the weekends...
Squidley Posted August 11, 2011 #15 Posted August 11, 2011 15-20 on avg. to %$#@ Hot to do much on the weekends... I hate to say this on this public forum, but you actually made sence with that statement...but I'm extremely confident it was a one time only thing
Bubber Posted August 11, 2011 #16 Posted August 11, 2011 Not nearly enough. No way near enough that is for sure. I haven't mentioned it to the wife but I was also thinking of going to the Davis Rally. Boy am I in trouble!
Rick Haywood Posted August 11, 2011 #17 Posted August 11, 2011 somewhere between 25-30 on an average week. After rethinking this, I am not really sure. I bought my RSV on July 27th last year and it had 18,700 miles on it and I just truned it over 51,000 yesterday so if I divide by how many days dived by how many miles.........................o the heck with it. Alot I guess but want nore. Just like a man isn't it? Always wanting more:big-grin-emoticon:
Motorcycle Mike Posted August 11, 2011 #18 Posted August 11, 2011 3 to 4 hours commuting. I guess I "average" around 30 hours just riding. That number can fluctuate greatly tho.
Jethroish Posted August 11, 2011 #19 Posted August 11, 2011 about 10 hours in the bike saddle and about 10 hours in the other saddle.
Dr. Psycho Posted August 11, 2011 #21 Posted August 11, 2011 In my opinion not near enough , maybe 30-35 when I am home, in my wife's opinion way too much!!!
Sylvester Posted August 11, 2011 #22 Posted August 11, 2011 No freaking idea. I bought the bike in late 2001 and have 147,500 miles on it now. Never used it for commuting so most of the time while riding it was at 10+ hours per day. As of now I only ride it once or twice a month, but come fall the miles will rack up.
FuzzyRSTD Posted August 11, 2011 #23 Posted August 11, 2011 (edited) Ok, 25 minutes to work and then 25 back home = 50 minutes per day x 5 = 250 minutes divided by 60 minutes = 4.16666666667 hours of riding back and forth to the job and parking in the State Hwy Garage at work and then back my garage at home. Hours sitting in garage during work week = 24 hrs per day x 5 = 120 hours minus 4.16666666667 riding to work = 115.33333333 hours sitting in garages. Conclusion to this ma-ham is this. The bike gets more rest than I do. Edited August 12, 2011 by FuzzyRSTD
BradT Posted August 12, 2011 #24 Posted August 12, 2011 I hate to say this on this public forum, but you actually made sence with that statement to %$#@ Hot to do much on the weekends... Now that is Funny, What happened to we ride 12 months of the year Brad
bongobobny Posted August 12, 2011 #25 Posted August 12, 2011 Not as much as I would like to!! probably 8 - 10 hrs a week...
