Possible Record Breaking in OKC?

The National Weather Service seems to think it will only hit 111 degrees in OKC today.

Local stations are predicting breaking the 113 degree record.

I only know that I will not be walking on my wood deck in bare feet . . . 169 degrees!

We're getting a break here in Omaha, Ne. today. It's dropped down to 90 degrees today. Humidity dropped a bit to. I actually had goose bumps on the ride to work this morning from the chilly 77 degrees. Ahhh....bliss I tell ya.

 

And it's only the 3rd of August. What are we in for?

Yes, there is a pool. I just have to run across the 169 degree :225:deck.

Slip and slide would work, so would a soaker hose just to keep things wet.

 

This summer we broke the record high temp and then less than 24 hours later we broke the record low temp. That made for some good t-storms.
