cowpuc Posted December 11, 2007 #4 Posted December 11, 2007 I love those kind of places,,, the ones like you are talking about that take anti-Christmas action are my favorite places this time of year.. I go out of my way to stop at those places - as I am walking in the front door I tape one of my ready made signs on their front door notifying their customers that the Management of the establishment is against Christianity and that everyone is encouraged to say Merry Christmas to all the employees in the store.. I then proceed inside, walk up tothe counter and tell them I didnt really need to purchase anything but just wanted to stop and tell them Merry Christmas... My wife get mad at me for my antaginistic ways sometimes but heyyyyy,, needling peoples what I do... hahahaha 'Puc

KiteSquid Posted December 12, 2007 #16 Posted December 12, 2007 Merry Christmas to all, and I have prayed for the management and staff of Mobil Corporation.
Snarley Bill Posted December 12, 2007 Author #17 Posted December 12, 2007 Merry Christmas to all, and I have prayed for the management and staff of Mobil Corporation. i'm not sure if it is a nation wide mobil policy.i think the ones around here are privately owned.i'm trying to find out.we have a big local mall that has been bought recently buy another conglomerate.this year they are actually playing christmas music over the pa system. i have nothing against any one celebrating there different religous holidays.and i don't celebrate christmas to offend anyone.it is just an accepted tradition in this country from day one.if i went to another country that believed different than me i would not be offended.i think this whole anti christmas movement goes much deeper than that.it is part of a ploy to destroy the moral fiber of our country.when the moral fiber is gone it's back to the sodom and gomora way of life. just my opinion.bill
KiteSquid Posted December 12, 2007 #18 Posted December 12, 2007 It may not be Mobil coperate policy, but they are allowing it to happen. I will contune to pray...
Snarley Bill Posted December 12, 2007 Author #19 Posted December 12, 2007 It may not be Mobil coperate policy, but they are allowing it to happen. I will contune to pray... ya know, i was beginning to loose faith in the human race. but after starting this thread i'm finding that there are still some good square thinking people in this country. i guess thats why i have been on so many forums and left. the venture riders are the only ones that seem to care about important values like their country ,the future of their kids, their future, and the future of the people around them.the silent majority has arose on this thread.thank you.bill :clap2::clap2:
Yama Mama Posted December 13, 2007 #20 Posted December 13, 2007 Merry Christmas to all! I am always upset when someone wishes me a Happy Holiday, as in a store for instance. I always look them in the eye and respond, Merry Christmas. What is the world coming too. Peggy
