Has anybody retro fitted a harley seat to fit

i have been going back and forth on the seat mod new seat or replacement and modification of a comfier seat.

 

my seat is a pain in my rear end and i doubt that the butler seat mod will help a great deal. i dont want just a lil betyer I want comfort.

Mustang seats want $600 for thier seats and I cant fork up that much.

i can do $100 or so in the next few weeks or christmas for a $300 seat but No way i can get $600 for a seat past the wife.

i think I can shave and make brackets for a nice road king or electra pillow top seat.;

any ideas

I thought somebody here had done that a while back. Didn't the bike suddenly develope a strange oil leak after it was installed?

do a google search for "mean city cycles"......ive sat on thier seats (actually your seat redone)

and they are incredible....and the price is under 200.00 with round trip shipping.

I put a Road Glide removable backrest on my 1st gen.

The Butler seat mod is cheap, and everybody raves about it, I havent heard of anyone complaining that it didnt make the seat much more comfortable..............give it a try, you might be surprised!

I spoke to Rick today and I have been convinced to let him do the mod. I am still in pain from 500 miles yesterday. I will be sending my seat off Friday . Cant wait!!

There is actually one complaint everyone has after doing the butler mod...that they didn't do it sooner.

I had rick modify my stock seat early this spring. Noticed an immediate improvement. But did know just exactly how much til Cody. I am happy to report the modification turned a 50 mile seat into a 500 mile per day seat. Well worth the money.
