saddlebum Posted November 17, 2011 Share #26 Posted November 17, 2011 (edited) After my bike was totaled in 2007, I rebuilt all the plastic with plastex. I reinforced it using drywall fiber tape. after the initial repair, I simply stuck the fiber tape over the crack and alternatly poured on the powder and liquid. It did a great job. the left front fairing is actually made up using the good sections of two fairings. The white tabs are made entirly of white plastex using a mold.
