bilko1 Posted July 24, 2011 #26 Posted July 24, 2011 Thanks for all the well wishes. Tom is sitting on the couch, working from home today. At work tomorrow. Now to deal with the bike. Here's what it looks like, not bad considering. . .it didn't skid. Just hit and fell over. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6137/5961930452_b578a6f00d.jpg http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6129/5961931084_1dcb225807.jpg http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6001/5961375389_57b4dbeb3f.jpg Anyone need anything? I'm new here. Been there don that, but it was a red car thet hit me head on. Now to the reason for my post. :)I have all the parts you need to put it back together. Aslong as the frame and motor are still ok. all you need to do is pay shipping, or come to N.W. Arkansas and pick them up. PM me for other info. Bilko
Pegasus1300 Posted July 24, 2011 #27 Posted July 24, 2011 Hi Ginny I am so glad that Tom has come thru so well. I know just how he feels.Cynthia and I are pondering our riding future as well after our blow out and wreck a month ago on the new 08 RSVS. Still dealing with broken wrists and ribs but glad to be alive to do so. Looks like some one has already offered you what you need for the repair. If you decide not to repair I could use your windshield for my 87.
jfoster Posted July 24, 2011 #28 Posted July 24, 2011 It's probably better they didn't see it....those that tense up usually sustain more injuries.
TARHEEL RIDER Posted July 24, 2011 #29 Posted July 24, 2011 Glad to hear everything is ok. The bike can be repaired or replaced.

imagesinthewind Posted July 29, 2011 Author #32 Posted July 29, 2011 a few years back in Dunnville ON, A truck swerved to miss a cow on the road and caused the oncoming car to swerve to miss the truck. That car lost control and slammed into the car following the truck killing several people. In your case I'm Glad Tom was OK! I do need the vent cover on the RIGHT side of the dash panel (beside the speaker) for my 88. Did it survive? PM me with details! I think it did survive, I'll look and let you know. Thanks!
