couple questions

just had a couple questions thought maybe someone can help me out.. is there any way to eliminate the kilometers on the speedo on my 05 venture.. not really an issue but just wondering.. secondly, quiet often the radio will loose signal and have an "rx" on the display.. kind of figured it was just loosing signal but this weekend we plugged in the ipod and it did the same thing.. thank you for the advice..

Eliminate the kilometers??? Do you mean on the trip meter? ... if so, yes, just hit the reset.

 

 

EDIT: wait a min... you're in the USA and you got a Canuck bike...right? Got no answer for ya on that but think of it this way .... you're in tune with most of the rest of the world

Hey Partsman,

 

Welcome to the site. RX means that your CB is on and your are receiving a message. Had the same thing last year when I got my new to me 06 RSV. Bugged me all year until I put the bike away for the winter. That's when I decided to look into it. Just turn the CB off and enjoy the tunes!

thanks bg, will do just that.. and silver, what i was talking about is below the mph on my speedo it has kilometers that when the bike is off doesnt show up but is there when its running..
