Looking for fuel petcock handle for 1985 Venture

I'm looking for a handle for the fuel petcock, screw vibrated loose and lost the handle. Fortunately the fuel is in the on position. does anyone have one lying around?

Do you actually use that valve?

To be honest my handle could have vibrated off years ago and I would not have noticed.

With the gas gauge working I just set it to reserve and forget about it. It is way to hard to reach and/or turn while driving. When the last bar on the gas gauge goes out and red light comes on, you have 1 gallon left, same as reserve.

That's pretty much my approach too. With a few tests, the gauge is accurate and an MSR 20oz bottle of gas in the back,or two, offers peace of mind.

My 83 has been on reserve the 15 years and 123,000 miles I have put on it. I see no reason to mess with it.

Any year will fit. I agree with the above statements! The handle is just too darn hard to turn without pliers anyway! (There is a mod to fix that problem listed somewhere here)
