Heading out for Phoenix in the morning - will probably stop tomorrow night somewhere between Capitan and Socorro NM. I know, I know - that means either Capitan, Carrizozo, or Socorro - there ain't nothin else! If anyone is around to say hi, give me a shout; cell number is

Will be coming back on the 18th, so if you're in the area but tomorrow doesn't work, maybe then? On the way back, I'll probably stop somewhere between Capitan and Lubbock.

 

Anybody in Phoenix wanna have a beer? I'll be there Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

really no place to stay in between those two towns. Socorro would be your best bet.

Looks like you are going to ride hwy 60 across. excellent choise, rode it a couple weeks ago from prescott to albuquerque. i work in albuquerque but live 40 miles east. i don't get through with work until 6:30-7:00pm usually. if you get to scorro and if i can, i will definitely attempt to ride down for a cup of coffee. phone # on my profile.

If I weren't leaving Thursday I'd be willing to meet up with you around Post and ride that Post to Brownfield stretch with you. Depending on when you come through I may still be able to pull that off, but my guess is you'll be through there long before I'd be available (after 12/noon).

 

I will be gone until late on the 23rd.
