fishinjer Posted December 9, 2007 #1 Posted December 9, 2007 Today Shell and I went for a day ride. We had lunch at El Chico in Huntsville. Rode around Lake Livingston on some back roads. She took a few photos, we'll see how they turned out. We would like to find out how to post in the Photobucket area. I would like to plan a meet and eat for anyone in this area. (Houston, TX and surrounding area).
Guest Popeye Posted December 9, 2007 #2 Posted December 9, 2007 Wife & I just sat back & watched the freezing drizzle ice up the roads today. We had lunch in the kitchen, didn't take any pics though. Tomorrow is supposed to be ice & snow mixed with a high of about 28*F, and we are looking forward to sitting in the sunroom & watching it hit the ground. No plans for lunch, though. Monday is below freezing & clear, but Tuesday is supposed to be freezing rain again. We'd love to attend a Meet & Eat, but we'll probably have to wait a few more months.
muffinman Posted December 9, 2007 #3 Posted December 9, 2007 Glad to hear I am not the only one that rode today.I did just over 500 miles I had to go to Boone N.C. to get photomuffins stuff as she gets out of college on thursday.I hauled her microwave, locker,Vac,fans, and assorted other junk out of her dorm room.Needless to say when I left the Rv it was 39*when I got to Boone it was 45* with drizzle to spare the roads were covered in salt and sand from last week.It got up to 65* on the way home but all in all a great day of riding. BEER30 Posted December 9, 2007 #5 Posted December 9, 2007 There's some nice riding in Texas ! Now you had to mention Mexican food . I was raised on Mex-Tex food and all I can get here in NC or elsewhere is that stuff they call mexican food that's oriented from Spain . There's quite a difference ! I have family that still live in Texas . I might have to plan a road trip next year to see them . BEER30
