Merlin Posted July 10, 2011 #5 Posted July 10, 2011 Congratulations! Absolutely nothing sounds like those V-4's with a set of pipes. A great hot-rod sound that really stands out. I went with the LA Choppers slip-ons and I like the way they sound.
Sailor Posted July 10, 2011 #6 Posted July 10, 2011 Got my Barons Baggers and put them on. Louder than I expected but I like the way they sound at idle and at cruise. A bit loud in between. On the other hand I was parked on the ferry next to a Harley with loud slash cuts. He fired up and had the usual loud exhaust. I could not resist, I fired up then revved it up. Drowned him out completely. When we unloaded he just sat there and would not move until I was well up the dock.
