Condor Posted July 8, 2011 #1 Posted July 8, 2011 Some of you may have seen this already, but it's worth watching again..... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZboxMsSz5Aw&feature=youtube_gdata_player]Print-a-Wrench[/ame]
sgn Posted July 8, 2011 #4 Posted July 8, 2011 How much $$$ to reproduce that wrench. The printer is very expensive, some I have seen upwards $40,000.00 But if someone would quote fairing pieces at reasonable price, once scan was done and file saved could be produced as needed. A lot of these 3D printers use ABS plastic "sugar" with a bonding medium.
sleepy2 Posted July 8, 2011 #5 Posted July 8, 2011 Saw slightly different type on Jay Leno interview with My Classic Car. cool !!!
