Guest BluesLover Posted December 8, 2007 #1 Posted December 8, 2007 This has nothing to do with motorbikes, but I thought it may be of interest to some of you who are not familiar with the city of Toronto, Canada. This is a real ad - you can check out the link to get to the actual real estate listing. *** Toronto’s Smallest House is Up for Sale! If.... You live alone or with one other person (or an extremely small dog!!!) You don’t have much stuff (barely more than a homeless person!!) Rich99 Posted December 8, 2007 #2 Posted December 8, 2007 You said if you own a dog. Well, I think it would do well for a cat. It would have plenty of room to run up and down, but not back and forth. :rotf:
mraf Posted December 8, 2007 #3 Posted December 8, 2007 Cut wind in that and you'd have to go outside!:rotfl:
bongobobny Posted December 8, 2007 #4 Posted December 8, 2007 Lawn sure looks quick and EZ to mow! Down once and done!
Thom Posted December 8, 2007 #5 Posted December 8, 2007 179,000 $ 300sq. feet ? i have RV's with more room than that and a whole lot cheaper , i hope that is US dollars not CAN. dollars !!!
Guest BluesLover Posted December 8, 2007 #6 Posted December 8, 2007 i hope that is US dollars not CAN. dollars !!! Right now Thom, they're just about even, so call it whichever way you like, it's WAY expensive to live in Toronto (glad I don't!). Cheers,
Brake Pad Posted December 8, 2007 #7 Posted December 8, 2007 I'd build up with it, and out, forget about the back yard. Build out the bottom, for a 2 car garage. make 1000.sq. ft, would work nicely
SilvrT Posted December 9, 2007 #8 Posted December 9, 2007 Did I notice windows on the SIDE walls??? geeeez... great view thru those (the exterior walls of the adjacent buildings)
Guest Yamahawg Posted December 9, 2007 #9 Posted December 9, 2007 I was impressed to see that it had parking for 2 cars.
hipshot Posted December 9, 2007 #10 Posted December 9, 2007 my bedroom is bigger than that whole house!!!! and mamma, has the MASTER bedroom, i got second choice! lol just jt
cowpuc Posted December 9, 2007 #11 Posted December 9, 2007 Hey Blues,, THAT is way cool.. Honestly I like it.. Only thing I dont understand is the price.. Are the houses putting the squeeze on the little guy 50,000,000.00 dollar homes and up? Is there something besides location that is giving the market agency some idea that the little guy is worth that - like,, ummmmm,, at one time Queen Elizebeth lived there...
Lone Eagle Posted December 9, 2007 #12 Posted December 9, 2007 Hey, here in the Bay Area, that same place would probably go for around $350,000 ! You know, location, location. That is a cute place though I would get claustraphobic in about 10 minutes:confused24:
Guest BluesLover Posted December 9, 2007 #13 Posted December 9, 2007 Is there something besides location that is giving the market agency some idea that the little guy is worth that - like,, ummmmm,, at one time Queen Elizebeth lived there...In Toronto it's simply the laws of supply and demand. It has always been expensive, but it is getting worse. It can't grow south (Lake Ontario) and can't grow east/west (already done) and it can't really grow north (legislation passed about needing to keep a greenspace), so it can only grow up (more and sky-rises), or drive the prices of existing places up. This guy was pretty smart though ... took his driveway/walkway that was probably not even being used and turned it into a $180K investment. The ad does claim that there is parking for 2 cars ... where, other than out on the street itself is beyond me!!! Cheers,
