running light conversion

Get ahold of panjandrum here on the site as he got an LED kit that adds brake & running lights to his rear signal lights. I installed them for him ... wasn't too difficult of a job but you have to disassemble the mounting hardware to run the wires.

I have all LED light in brake and turn signals (front & back). I got all mine from Custom Dynamics. They have the run/turn/brake for rear. http://www.customdynamics.com/

I removed the marker lights, and then setting the depth with a drill stop, I drilled holes in the back of the marker light without hitting the iinside of the front lens.

 

Then I installed 12 volt led lights using black RTV to seal the lights in the drilled holes.

 

Worked like a charm..

 

In fact, I also installed brake led lights in the rear marker under the license plate.
